Janelle is a Board Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner who joined Legacy Medical Centers to offer acute and chronic sports injuries/pain management to patients of all ages. In 2011, Janelle obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from West Virginia University. After graduation, she worked as a Registered Nurse at WVU Medicine, Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV in the Maternal and Infant Care Center for six years. During this time, she provided care to high-risk obstetric mothers and newborns and developed a strong interest in treating patients across the lifespan, which lead her to follow her passion and advance her nursing education.
In May 2017, Janelle graduated from West Virginia University with a Master of Science in Nursing degree in the Family Nurse Practitioner program. During the Family Nurse Practitioner program, she was awarded the Margaret Perry Scholarship for excellence in academics. Janelle is currently a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the Sigma Theta Tau Honor Society of Nursing. She is also certified in myofascial trigger point dry needling by the Dry Needling Institute, LLC.
Janelle is ecstatic to offer both existing and new Legacy Medical Centers patients acute and chronic pain management treatment using a collaborative approach of traditional medicine, chiropractic care and physical therapy to effectively provide an individualized patient care experience. She recognizes the importance of staying up to date and caring for her patients utilizing the most recent evidence based practice. Janelle always looks forward to developing/establishing strong relationships with both her patients and their families while providing quality care.
When Janelle isn’t treating patients, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, working out and traveling. Janelle currently resides near the McMurray location with her husband, Tyler. Janelle strives to provide excellent quality care to prevent injury/disease and promote optimal health for her patients in the community.
