Dr. Angela Gallik’s interest in Chiropractic began after the first time she saw a chiropractor. Starting at the age of five, she was a competitive gymnast and with that, had many injuries and a lot of body pain. Both of those started to decrease once she began seeing a chiropractor. Around the age of 13 she began having low back problems and the solution she heard from many people was simply to quit gymnastics. Since quitting was not an option for her, she decided to try something she was unfamiliar with that ended up becoming a life changer – chiropractic. Chiropractic was not only a solution for her low back pain, but it allowed her keep doing what she loved most. She was a competitive gymnast for 13 years and she has chiropractic to thank for her successful, pain free, and injury free years as a gymnast. After learning all about chiropractic and how it works, her passion for it grew and she decided to turn that passion into a career.
After receiving her bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Kent State University, Dr. Angela decided to continue her education with health and holistic approaches at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. The education she received at Palmer not only taught her how chiropractic can help with pain, but how it can also help athletes work at their fullest potential. Her knowledge with the body’s mechanics and the importance of proper spine mobilization guides her appreciation for chiropractic for athletes and patients of all ages. Being a runner herself, she truly understands the importance of being pain free and being able to perform at your fullest potential. She currently runs in half marathons and 5ks every year. Her passion for running and staying active helps her fully comprehend the benefits of chiropractic care for athletes, and for all people trying to stay healthy.
Dr. Angela went on to receive her doctorate in Chiropractic at Palmer Iowa. She is very excited to continue her education and learn the newest techniques and technologies for chiropractic care. She is trained and certified in activator technique and can perform many different adjustment techniques and passive modalities to help decrease pain.
In her free time, she enjoys running, hanging out with her dog, and doing any outside activities.
